A:

Withdrawal syndromes are typically related to the length of time on the medication and the strength of the dosage. Sertraline 25 mg (Zoloft) is a very low dose and shouldn’t have much in the way of significant withdrawal symptoms. The most common withdrawal symptoms are nausea, tremors, muscle pain, and insomnia. At higher doses, many patients report what is often referred to as “electric zaps” as part of the withdrawal symptom. If your withdrawal symptoms don’t diminish or become uncomfortable, consult your prescribing physician for treatment and recommendations.
