Dr Mathew is a licensed psychologist specializing in treating depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, trauma/abuse and negative self-image. She is passionate about working with women’s issues and diverse populations. Dr Mathew has worked in both academic and clinical treatment settings including university counseling centers, community mental health, schools and a psychiatric hospital. She served as the director of a community mental health clinic and clinical associate professor at the University of Wisconsin. Currently, Dr Mathew works in private practice, teaches and supervises students training to become psychologists. She holds a PhD in counseling psychology from Fordham University and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
